This can be as vibrant and relaxing as you’d like it to be. Many people have come to reside in Pattaya to enjoy the endless things it has to offer. There are numerous shopping malls, plenty of markets, beaches, and many entertainment areas. Many of the beaches offer windsurfing, para-sailing, banana boat rides, jet skiing, swimming, or just relaxing under the shade and enjoying local foods.

Families with Young Children

There are certainly plenty of activities for families in and around Pattaya. To list a few: there is Greta Farm, where you could enjoy a nice meal and feed the animals; Wake Boarding for those who are active; Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark; Pattaya Park (rides and swimming pools); Kidzoona, an indoor playground; Teddy Bear Museum where children can climb on giant bears and play with sand and slides; structured playgroups for 0-3 year-olds at Tara Pattana International School; BAMBI for mums, dads and babies. You could also take a short ride to Khao Keow Zoo where you could rent a golf cart to explore!

Health and Safety

Transport

You could travel around Pattaya using either “Song Teow”, Motorbike taxi, GRAB taxi, or rent a vehicle.

Beyond Pattaya

For those who love to explore, there are also many beautiful islands nearby, such as Koh Larn and Koh Samet, where you could swim or snorkel in the clean water or just relax. You can easily reach these island via speed boat or ferry. If you want more of an urban experience you can take the bus from Pattaya to Bangkok for 124 baht or a taxi at 1000 baht. Bangkok has many great places to shop and eat.
