Examinations Centre
Tara Pattana International School is one of the few exam centres in Chonburi which accommodates private candidates for IGCSE and AS / A Level examinations. The school is accredited by both Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel. Private candidates have the opportunity to sit their examinations on the school premises in a controlled, invigilated environment under the rules and regulations of the relevant examination boards. Our exams officer has a comprehensive understanding of the exam administration process and will ensure that candidates are entered for the correct syllabus.
Certain subjects dictate a practical component, coursework component or speaking component, e.g art, music, PE, some languages. These practical assessments (other than speaking components for English as an Additional Language, English as a Second Language and Mandarin) cannot be accommodated for external candidates as we cannot attest to the authenticity of the work being submitted.
Science: students must enter for Edexcel examinations or choose the ‘alternative to practical’ assessment if entering for Cambridge IGCSE.
Candidates will be required to register and pay the appropriate fees before entries will be processed.
All private candidates must follow the guidelines set by the examining boards and TPIS regulations.
