Mr Chris Parfitt, an experienced British educator, brings nearly two decades of international leadership across the UK, China, Qatar, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia. He has a strong track record of driving school improvement and promoting academic excellence for all students.
Ms Jitiiman Hunger or call me Kru Na. I has more than 20 years of teaching experience. I holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration. I has experience in teaching, educational management, working with ROTC students, as well as participating in school evaluation and accreditation processes. I has been a member of the school since its establishment and continues to serve the school with dedication and a strong sense of loyalty.
Dr Jee Suphannee Dickson-Smith is the School Director and School Manager, holding a Doctorate in Educational Administration. As a founding member of the school since 2011, she is deeply committed to providing strong leadership with a focus on academic quality, student well-being, and smooth, effective school operations.
Ms Skjeie is the Head of Early Years at Tara Pattana and a long-standing member of the TPIS community, having been part of the school for the past seven years. With over 13 years of teaching experience across Canada, Turkey, and Thailand, she brings a deep, global perspective to education. Her work is strongly rooted in community building, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating inclusive learning environments. For the past 6 years Ms Skjeie has helped TPIS students build their foundation and find their love for learning by fostering an inclusive and caring enviroment in Early Years.
Karl Egan is the Head of Primary at Tara Pattana International School. A British educator with over a decade of experience in international education, he has taught and led in the UK, South Korea, and Thailand. Karl is passionate about building strong school communities, developing staff, and ensuring that children feel safe, supported, and challenged in their learning.
At TPIS, Karl works closely with students, staff, and families to create a positive and inclusive Primary environment, with a strong focus on wellbeing, consistency, and high expectations. He believes that the best outcomes for children come from strong relationships, clear systems, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.
Mr Bray is the Head of PE and Enrichment and has been part of Tara Pattana International School for the last 8 years. With 19 years of teaching experience in Thailand and the UK, he has a strong belief that education should develop the whole child—academically, physically, and socially. With extensive experience in leading PE departments and whole-school enrichment programmes, Mr Bray is passionate about creating inclusive opportunities that allow every student to participate, challenge themselves, and build confidence.
He leads a broad and engaging PE curriculum alongside a diverse enrichment programme that includes competitive sport, recreational activities, and leadership opportunities. Mr Bray is committed to promoting lifelong physical activity, teamwork, resilience, and wellbeing, ensuring students of all abilities feel supported and motivated to achieve their personal best.
Ms Kendall has been teaching since 2013, with experience in English as a First Language, English as a Second Language (ESL), and English Literature across the UK, the UAE, and Thailand. She has lived and worked in Thailand for nine years, developing a strong passion for multilingual education and inclusive language learning.
Mr Morrison is an experienced primary educator with seven years of teaching experience, including four years in the UK and three years in international schools. He currently serves as Head of the ELS programme and Primary English, where he leads curriculum development and supports high-quality teaching across the school. Mr Morrison has deep expertise in early reading and literacy development, with extensive experience across KS1 and early KS2. He is known for his strong subject knowledge, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to nurturing confident, capable readers through engaging, research-informed practice.
Mr Cornwell is an experienced teacher with nine years of teaching across England, Kuwait and Thailand. He brings enthusiasm into the classroom and is passionate about supporting every child’s learning and development. As Head of Key Stage 1, he draws on his international experience to offer a unique and well-rounded perspective. Outside the classroom, Mr Cornwell has a strong passion for sport and enjoys coaching football and swimming. He firmly believes that teaching is a lifelong journey and that you never stop learning throughout your career.
Ms Edell has been teaching internationally and in the UK for over 11 years, with experience across Thailand, the UAE, China and England. She is an experienced senior leader with a strong background in safeguarding, pastoral systems and curriculum development. As Head of Key Stage 3 and a Designated Safeguarding Lead, she is passionate about creating inclusive, high‑expectation environments where every student can thrive academically and personally. With a specialism in English Language and Literature, she has taught across Key Stages 2–5 and has led whole‑school initiatives, staff development and community engagement.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, including 8 years in Thailand and 4 years at our school, Lynsey brings passion, consistency, and heart to everything she does. She is deeply committed to helping children grow in confidence, particularly through the performing arts, where careful encouragement and creative expression allow students to truly flourish. Lynsey believes that every child deserves the opportunity to be seen, heard, and celebrated — because everyone should have their chance to shine.
Mr Brown is an experienced international educator with 9 years of teaching experience across the UK, Brazil, Russia, and Thailand, where he is currently in his fifth year and serve as Head of Key Stage 2. He brings strong subject knowledge across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, alongside a deep understanding of assessment to ensure teaching is targeted, effective, and responsive to individual needs. He is committed to creating a positive, high-expectations learning environment where all students are supported to achieve their best. He values strong parent–teacher partnerships and believe open communication plays a vital role in every child’s success. Through building meaningful relationships and fostering curiosity, he strives to help every learner reach their full potential.
With a strong track record of leading continuous improvements, elevating standards and delivering academic success, Mike Jones specializes in guiding students through the pivotal IGCSE years, ensuring academic rigor is matched by robust pastoral support within a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. Mike is a mathematics practitioner and academic leader with a unique background that blends corporate leadership with a passion for academic excellence.
Ms. Wilairat Utsaram, also known as Kru Ou, has over 15 years of teaching experience in Thai schools and 6 years at Tara Pattana International School. She is a dedicated and responsible educator who is passionate about promoting the Thai language, culture, and national identity. Kru Ou is committed to supporting students in developing confidence and using the Thai language effectively in both their learning and everyday lives.
Nicolas Thielen (Nico), an experienced Admissions and Marketing specialist, has worked across international schools in Pattaya for over eight years. As a local, he enjoys getting to know each family and supporting them from the beginning of the admissions journey until their first day at school. With strong local knowledge, Nico is also happy to guide families on life in Pattaya, helping them settle smoothly into the community.
Ms Roge has been working at Tara Pattana International School for 12 years. She is a Licensed Professional Nurse from the Philippines and has contributed across various departments within the school, demonstrating flexibility, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility in every role she undertakes.She enjoys meeting people from all walks of life and brings care, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to support students and colleagues in everything she does.

As the Designated Safeguarding Lead for Early Years, Ms Skjeie takes extra care of students mental and physical health. She keeps the line of communication open with families and is always available to discuss a student's development. She runs parent sessions for academics and behaviour, helping guide families through the big emotions our younger students experience, delevelop and learn to regulate.
