Our learning approach

Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

Duke of Edinburgh's International Award

At our Secondary School in Thailand, from Year 10, students can embark on the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. At Bronze level, students take their first step into the programme, balancing Physical Recreation, Skills, Voluntary Service and an Adventurous Journey. Moving on to Silver, students spend longer developing their skills, fitness and service, and undertake a more demanding expedition, building greater resilience, independence and teamwork. At Gold level, the challenge reaches its peak, with a sustained year‑long commitment in each section, an extended Adventurous Journey and an additional residential project.

Along the way, participants strengthen leadership, problem‑solving and social responsibility, engage meaningfully with their community and the natural environment, and develop the confidence, character and determination.
