Tara Tots Playgroup
Our nursery in Pattaya offers a welcoming two-hour playtime every Wednesday from 9.30am – 11.30am during school terms, specially designed for children aged 6 months to 3 years and their caregivers. In a warm, nurturing setting, our youngest learners explore, move, talk, imagine and connect through activities that gently support their development.
Play-based learning
Spark curiosity through a play-based activities that gently introduce our youngest learners to school life with fun and teacher-led sessions, accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Life competencies
Build early physical, linguistic, cognitive, social and emotional skills through the TPIS Learner Profile and ISP Life Competencies framework – supported by Camtree, part of Hughes Hall at the University of Cambridge.

Multilingual immersion

At Tara Tots Playgroup, little ones and their grown-ups share joyful two-hour sessions filled with purposeful play, gentle routines and plenty of smiles. With a parent or caregiver by their side, children are invited to explore, experiment and try new things at their own pace.
Making learning fun
At our nursery in Pattaya, children discover and learn through thoughtfully planned, play-based activities. From splashing in water, digging in sand and diving into the ball pool to painting, drawing, folding, cutting and pasting, every experience is designed to build early motor skills, curiosity and confidence.
Creative art and craft sessions sit alongside relaxed free play, giving little ones the freedom to experiment, interact and develop at their own pace in a safe, nurturing environment.
Sparking curiosity
At one of the best nurseries in Pattaya, teacher-led activities gently guide toddlers through rich early learning experiences. Through storytelling, little ones build listening, language and imagination, while musical play develops rhythm, coordination and joy in shared songs.
Simple sports activities and outdoor fun and games encourage movement, balance and cooperation, helping children grow in confidence as they explore, play and connect with others in a supportive setting.
Sessions run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, each lasting two hours in a flexible, relaxed setting where families and children can move between activities at their own pace. Three teacher‑led activities are offered, guided by a weekly timetable that provides variety and gentle structure.

At Tara Tots Playgroup, toddlers are gently supported to reach early milestones such as making eye contact, responding to their name, sitting, crawling, taking first steps, babbling, saying first words and exploring the world through sensory play. Social milestones are just as important: sharing smiles, playing alongside others, following simple routines and forming secure bonds with familiar adults.
Every achievement, big or small, is celebrated with warm praise, songs, clapping and photos shared with families, and staff are ready to offer information about milestones whenever needed. By working in close partnership with parents, each child’s progress is recognised and valued, creating joyful moments.
Children develop key communication, social connection, emotional regulation, independence, curiosity and physical skills. These foundations grow through secure relationships, responsive interactions and meaningful play. Across each session, songs, stories, baby sign language and rich adult narration build language, while turn‑taking games, shared sensory play and consistent routines support social and emotional development.
Carefully planned environments invite exploration, choice and early self‑help, encouraging independence and problem‑solving through sensory activities, cause‑and‑effect toys, music, movement and messy play.
From the very beginning, children at Tara Tots Playgroup spend their time in a warm, language‑rich environment where English and Thai are woven naturally into everyday activities. Educators model clear, expressive speech and use repetition, visuals and gestures to make communication accessible and joyful.
Families are warmly encouraged to keep using and celebrating their home languages, speaking, singing and playing with children in the language they know best. By hearing English, Thai and familiar languages side by side, children gain natural exposure to multilingualism, build confidence in communication and lay a strong foundation for future learning.
I love the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It is a great outing for me and my baby to do during the week. There are many different activities each day and we can pick and choose which ones to do. My son loves the messy play time!
