The Camp offers an exciting variety of art activities to stimulate children to develop and create their own voice in art. Children will explore arts and design, sculpture, Do- it- Yourself (DIY), painting and drawing with different themes. The children will be learning and practicing those skills whilst having fun.
Music classes cover a broad range of music from South East Asian Music to Blues and Jazz. We also have a large focus on Western Classical Music from the Renaissance to the Romantic period. Students will learn an overview of some of these styles and learn how to perform some key pieces from the repertoire. Most importantly, students will learn how to perform as individuals and as a group through playing on our wide range of instruments available.
Created for students who enjoy being active and have a love of the outdoors and working together. Our activities will enhance social relations and define roles within a team involving collaborative tasks.
Students will have access to our extensive facilities and qualified coaches providing an environment that is friendly and inclusive but also challenging. Expression, creativity, respect for others and a love of being active are the aims of this program. Students will participate in a variety of exercises while complying with social distancing rules.
At TPIS our dedicated team of year-round ‘Torpedo’ swim teachers work with students of all ages and skills and as such we are delighted to offer a swimming program at our Summer Camp. Combining elements of swimming for fitness, lifesaving skills, water-based games, and competitive strokes, students will be instructed by one of our experienced coaches. After an initial assessment, swimmers will work in groups and participate in a wide variety of pool- based activities including race skills, technique development and team skills.
Whether you are a native speaker or a beginner, our language programmes will immerse you in a variety of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities suited to your experience level.
Cooking is a unique opportunity to explore different cultures and many life lessons. In our classes, not only will you create delicious food from around the world, but our young chefs will use maths skills through measuring, counting, fractions and sequencing. They will also learn about how and where food grows and make scientific observations, predicting what changes will occur. There is also a focus on art and creativity where students will learn about use of colours and presentation.
