Our Focus and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum
Our Early Years program consists of Playgroup, Nursery and Reception. Our main aim in the Early Years at Tara Pattana International School is to foster happy and independent children who thrive in an environment which is fun, caring and full of new and exciting challenges and experiences. Each area of the Early Years offers a happy, homely and vibrant atmosphere with an emphasis on forging strong home/school links, to ensure the children make a confident and happy start to their school education. Parents are welcomed into the school and we operate an Open Door policy.
Preparation for the children’s education is thorough the timetable offering a balance of structured play and a focused emphasis on all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Every day’s timetable is carefully planned by our qualified early year’s team, to ensure that the children are offered both child initiated and teacher led activities in order to enable all of the children to achieve their full potential. There is help available from the Learning Enrichment department for any child who requires additional support. The children are given opportunities for both indoor and outdoor learning on a daily basis, with activities being planned to stimulate their senses and different learning styles.
