School Response to COVID-19

The Ministry of Public Health’s list of ‘at risk’ countries with ‘Ongoing Local Transmission’ has been updated.

  1. France
  2. Spain
  3. USA
  4. Switzerland
  5. Norway
  6. Japan
  7. Denmark
  8. Netherlands
  9. Sweden
  10. Germany
  11. Great Britain (England, Wales, Scotland)

The ‘dangerous’ list for ‘Disease Infected Zones’ remains as before

  • China including Macau and Hong Kong
  • South Korea
  • Iran
  • Italy

The Ministry of Education directive regarding family members or members of your household who have recently returned from “At Risk” countries; please also follow this directive if family members / members of your household are due to arrive from an “At Risk” country whilst this directive remains in place:

In the case that…teachers and educational personnel…students in all schools…have family members returned from at risk countries or have had close contact with those who are suspected to be an infected case, they must not attend class or not go to work for 14-day self quarantine at home.

14 day quarantine applies for any member of our community who has travelled to or through any one of the countries on the ‘dangerous’ and ‘at risk’ lists.
